The Kuna Farmers Market opens for the season this Saturday, May 13. The Market is
bigger and better than ever. We have more vendors and more produce, more plants,
and distinctive, handcrafted gifts just in time for Mothers’ Day.
The Market fare for the opening day will include fresh, local asparagus, mesclun
salad mix, lettuce, spinach, Swiss chard, breakfast radishes, herbs, and rhubarb.
And we now have eggs!
A variety of plants, flowers, and hanging baskets will be available for Mothers’
Day gifts and spring planting. Crafters will offer more gift ideas for Mother including
knit sweaters and afghans, jewelry, yard décor, and more.
The Sandstone Plaza businesses have exciting activities planned for opening day
of the Market. Kids will enjoy craft activities and the Magic Tumble Bus and Astro
Jump.
Also, mark your calendar for next week, May 20. We will have a Meet the Candidates
at the Market.
The Market hours are from 9 am to 12 noon every Saturday through October 28. The
location is at Sandstone Plaza at the west end of Main Street in downtown Kuna.
