Throughout the Farmers Market season, Stephanie and Ed Pearson’s booth has featured perennial starts from their yard, fresh berries, delicious baked goods, and woodcrafts.

Stephanie and her father, Terry Corder who also attends the Market, have enjoyed gardening together for many years. They dug and divided the hardy, traditional perennials from their yards and shared starts with Market customers. The raspberries and blackberries in Stephanie’s yard are the biggest and most juicy berries around.

Baking is, in Stephanie’s words, “my therapy.” She has been cooking since learning from her mom at an early age. Her Market customers’ top favorites have been the Herb Bread and the Scottish Shortbread. The Oatmeal Chocolate Chip cookies, Orange Snickerdoodles, and the personal-size berry pies also get high ratings.

Ed, Stephanie’s husband, is a construction framer and a woodworker. He recycles Christmas tree branches and shapes natural wooden buttons, candle holders, and napkin rings.

Stephanie and Ed live in Kuna with their daughter, Kaylee, age 9. Stephanie operates a day care in their home. Terry also lives in Kuna.

Stop by the Market and visit the Pearson-Corder family.
